ABOUT
ME
Hi, my
name is Alex Nuttall and I am 11 years old. When I am older I hope
to be F1 World Champion. At the moment I race in karts and last year
was my first year as a wtp cadet which is quite late to start
compared to many. I had a good first year, winning a couple of first
place novice trophies. But the season had many cheers and tears. Now
it is my second year in motorsport and I have already won two
trophies: one for second place and one for getting fastest lap in
the Winter 100 series at Shenington.
I
race at Shenington and Whilton Mill. My first ever kart was a 1993
Tony Kart, which ran an old Comer S60 engine. My second kart was a
2001 Solo chassis which we ran a wtp engine on. My third kart (the
one I am using at the moment) is a 1999 Zip cd06, still with a wtp
engine. All the top drivers use Zips!
I hope
next year to move up to either Junior TKM or Minimax – depending on
finances which is dependant on whether we are able to secure some
sponsorship.
I
would like to thank Waterline Ltd of Newport Pagnell for their
support over the last 18 months – long may it continue! I would
also like to thank Olney Tyres for their generosity in providing me
with two sets of tyres for the last season.
